What exactly do you DO?


We're a full-service video production company that covers all aspects of creating your perfect commercial. This includes:


  • Concept Development, Scriptwriting, Casting, Crew Assembly


  • Filming, Directing


  • Editing, Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, Voiceover


What equipment do you use?

While we think that HOW you use your equipment is more important than WHAT your equipment is, we still love our gear. In fact, we love it so much, we wrote a whole separate blog post about it! You can read it here.


What are your rates? (Is this gonna cost me an arm and a leg?)

Well, that depends on how much you value your limbs. We here at Stargazer pride ourselves on delivering quality content that you can use over and over again, and we charge accordingly. (But believe us, we're well worth the investment!)

Our pricing starts at $800. We charge a flat rate based on the length of your commercial, with a 50% deposit required upon signing our contract.


However, after a project is completed, if you decide you are not happy with the final result, we will not charge you the remaining half of the cost, and we will refund 50% of your deposit.

Additionally, we don't offer discounts for single projects, but we do have a 10% discount for repeat clients!


We believe this is a fair policy that accurately reflects the amount of hard work our entire team puts into each project. If you'd like a more comprehensive breakdown of our rates and policies, we'd be happy to provide it!


What is your typical process for working with a new client?

We start by scheduling an initial meeting or phone call with you in order to get to know your business and the project you’re looking to make.


If you already have a clear goal and vision, we can help you create a concrete plan for your commercial, but if you’re still a little fuzzy on what you want, we can break down your marketing goals and come up with a plan together.


We want to make sure we’re on the same page, that way we can get you the results you want.

About a week later, we have a second meeting, where we explain to you our fully fleshed out plan for your commercial, share any pre-production materials we’ve assembled, and go over set/location protocol (if we’re filming in your place of business) so that there are no surprises on the day of the shoot.


If you have any questions or concerns about your project, additional meetings or calls can be scheduled during business hours (M-F, 9am-6pm).

After we shoot the commercial, editing takes approximately two weeks. We will send you a rough edit, at which point you can let us know if you have any concerns with the commercial.


Once we send you a final, polished edit, if you are not happy with it, we will re-edit the video (with no additional shooting) once for free. After that, any additional shooting or editing is a separate fee.



Can't I just make my own commercial?

You could. But that's a lot of effort.


(And if you're not a professional videographer or video marketing expert, you probably won't get the business results you want.)
